Since so many people today are using containers on their decks or roofs or wherever actual gardening space is limited, I think that they need to realize that any plants in pots require more frequent watering than those actually in the ground. Someone going on vacation might engage a friend or neighbor to water their containers or should perhaps in some sort of drip irrigation system so they don’t return to a container full of dead plants!
